Our resident of the month is, some say, Mission Viejo’s favorite Rabbi, Rabbi Zalman Marcus. Rabbi Marcus was born in Brooklyn New York.
He was raised and educated according to the Hasidic Jewish tradition and comes from a lineage of Rabbis. He is the presiding Rabbi of the Chabad Jewish Center of Mission Viejo, California. Rabbi Marcus is particularly suited for this role. His enthusiasm and charismatic style, truly enhance his gifted teaching.
Rabbi Marcus has been married to his wife, Bassie, for 23 years. They have had nine kids, ranging from 2-21 years old. The family has lived in Mission Viejo since 1995.
